Zinfandel
DeNovo 2007 Zinfandel
Wine Makers Notes
Seaton Vineyard is located in the middle of Dry Creek Valley, an area in Northern Sonoma County known for balanced, spicy Zinfandel. The Seaton Vineyard Zinfandel was hand-picked just and the fruit was de-stemmed and crushed lightly. Using Pasteur Red yeast, fermentation went to complete dryness in 54 days. Malolactic fermentation went to completion. After fermentation, the wine aged 21 months in neutral French oak barrels. A small amount of Petite Syrah was blended in after aging for color and complexity.
